My friend Alan Berg tells wedding business owners “You should know how many visitors come to your website on mobile and from desktop devices”. This will help you make better decisions on what/how to optimize your site.
For my website (My Wedding Songs), 74% of my visitors see my website on a mobile device. The below chart is taken from my Google Analytics account.
What are the stats for your website? You must know this as “most” couples will commonly visit your website on their phones. Most corporate clients will likely visit your website from their desktop computers during work hours.
So, if engaged couples visit your website on their phones, what do they see?
I will tell you 3 VERY important things to divulge to couples when they go to your home page.
Firstly, why the home page?
If someone searches for “Best wedding DJs in Chicago”, they will be shown a map with 3 businesses. A link to the website will show if the business has a website listed in their business’ Google profile.
The website link will link to your home page! (for single-location businesses)
